Welcome to the 2026-2027 Raa Dance program at Augusta Raa Middle School

The Raa Dance Audition Application can be found on our website Dance Weebly on February 1st for the 26-27 school year. 

New and current students must fill out this audition packet to be placed in a dance class.

How do I become a part of the Raa Dance program?
Parent Information Meetings: Pre tryout: February 19th  6pm at Raa, Post tryout: May 5th 6pm

Auditions are Saturday May 2nd, 2026 from 9am-2pm in the Raa gym. All classes are audition only except for Dance One (for beginners). Any student at Raa Middle School is welcome to sign up for Dance One (provided there is room in the class). Simply indicate Dance One on your course request form. You will be guaranteed a spot if you attend auditions. Conversely, you will not be considered for a higher level class without an audition (which may be okay with you if you are a true beginner.)

We offer intermediate levels in our Dance Two and Three classes and an advanced level in our Dance Four class (the Raa Dance Team competition team). To become a member of the Raa Dance Team (which performs at football games and competes in the Spring) dancers will try out at the same day and time as the rest of the Raa Dance Company.
